The Faggots and their Friends Between Revolutions is a joyous and sexy celebration of queer and trans resilience and the power of community.Adapted from Larry Mitchell’s 1977 book, this play explores the inherent and timeless magic of radical queer imagination. Come party with us, come cry with us, come resist with us
This show is part of Haven Chicago's The Guest House Project series. The Guest House Project is an opportunity for artists to explore and develop new work in the home of Haven Chicago. This program provides a counter-offer to the playwright-centric new works model by calling upon directors, choreographers, devisors, ensembles, designers, and other genre-defying creators to develop their projects in our space. We believe -and want to show our community- that new work can start in a multiplicity of ways.
The event is PWYC as a donation for the artist. The Performance will be held at the Den Theatre In Theatre 2A.
90 minute event run time

What is The Guest House Project?
The Guest House Project is an opportunity for artists to explore and develop new work in the home of Haven Chicago. This program provides a counter-offer to the playwright-centric new works model by calling upon directors, choreographers, devisors, ensembles, designers, and other genre-defying creators to develop their projects in our space. We believe -and want to show our community- that new work can start in a multiplicity of ways.
We strive to be an encouraging space for risk taking and unconventional storytelling. To best support this kind of work, our development opportunities are tailored to the needs of the project in terms of length of residency, presentation format, and more.
